Our team visited the Milieux Institute for Arts, Culture and Technology at Concordia University in Montreal as part of a study visit. A particularly important part of the visit was meeting researchers and members of the Milieux Institute community, including the Technoculture, Art and Games (TAG) research group. It was also an opportunity to present the aims and experiences gained so far through the unLoc project and to share reflections arising from our ongoing work.

During our stay in Montreal, we also had the opportunity to attend MUTEK Montréal, an international festival, and MUTEK Forum, dedicated to digital art, electronic music and new technologies. Taking part in the festival and conference provided an additional opportunity to meet new people, discover new initiatives, and establish connections with representatives of artistic, research and technology communities.

This experience was an important part of the international collaboration developed within the unLoc project.
The visit was made possible through funding from the PROM Programme of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).
